Job summary

CRH seeks a Plant Supervisor in Milledgeville, GA to assist the Superintendent with day-to-day operations, safety, quality, and productivity. You will help manage process uptime and equipment performance within defined parameters.

You will lead a safety-driven team, coordinate maintenance, ensure proper sampling/testing, and maintain customer relations while supporting cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to recognize hazards and safety measures.
• Ability to plan and direct the work of others; strong communication.
• Ability to perform and interpret laboratory tests for operations.
• Effective interaction with personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent in managing operation details and cover in their absence.
• Lead safety program and promote safe work practices.
• Handle daily plant operational issues and inform Superintendent.
• Identify and resolve plant issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with internal/external resources.
• Provide resources to maintenance technicians as needed.
• Ensure proper sampling, testing protocols and reporting.
• Maintain positive customer relations and contract adherence.
• Oversee contracted work on plant components; ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
