Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Texas to perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations in a demanding industrial environment.

This role involves assisting with preventive maintenance, following safety procedures, and documenting equipment conditions clearly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant machinery and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
• Capability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to visually inspect equipment and read gauges, schematics, and documentation
• Capacity to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
