Job summary

Shields Health in Massachusetts seeks a registered nurse to provide general nursing care and leadership while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to promote and restore patients’ health. You will deliver nursing care across ages and settings, using the nursing process, and help coordinate care within the ambulatory surgery center.

This 1st-shift role (Monday–Friday) offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and free parking onsite.

Qualifications

Completion of a minimum of two (2) years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Massachusetts nursing license in the state of MA in good standing.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
ACLS required within one year of hire.
PALS certification preferred or obtained within six months of request.

Responsibilities

Provide care using the nursing process to facilitate positive patient experiences.
Lead and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, high‑quality perioperative care.
Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary caregivers and maintain clear communication.
Support department operations, training, and continuous quality improvement.
Maintain infection control, patient safety, and equipment readiness.
