Shields Health Care Group in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time position offers day-time hours, Monday through Friday, with no holidays, nights, or on-call.

The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for part-time or per diem positions. The RN will provide direct perioperative nursing care, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff, and support a safe, efficient surgical flow while maintaining high standards of

Qualifications

Two years of nursing education required to be eligible for RN licensure.
Minimum one year in ambulatory/outpatient surgery or OR nursing.
Massachusetts nursing license in good standing.
BLS required; ACLS within 1 year; PALS preferred or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and leadership in the OR, coordinating with physicians and staff.
Ensure patient safety and comfort through the nursing process before, during, and after procedures.
Communicate care plans and progress to the care team and family as needed.
Assist with room turnover, supply management, and instrument setup.
Promote a positive, collaborative perioperative environment and adherence to policies.
