Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to support patients under the guidance of an RN or LPN. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and document in the electronic medical record.

This full-time day shift offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits from day one, and opportunities to advance toward a PCA technician role through our accredited apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment in a healthcare career program preferred.
• No prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with patient needs: meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
