Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Part-time Unit Clerk to support nursing staff on the designated unit. Under RN supervision, you will perform receptionist and secretarial duties, assist with patient care, and maintain a safe, clean, and private patient environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurse Aide training program or 6 months experience as Nursing Assistant or enrollment in nursing program.
• BLS certification from a recognized body required before start date and valid for at least 60 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly rounding: Pain, Position, Personal needs, Possessions.
• Answer calls and relay information to staff.
• Assist with patient care: beds, baths, feeding, vital signs, mobility, daily weights, glucose tests.
