Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs receptionist and secretarial duties on the assigned unit.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care and comfort needs.
• Transcribe and process physician orders accurately.
• Maintain census boards and unit logs for admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Ensure rooms and equipment are clean, tidy and properly stored.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Orient new staff to unit procedures and ensure privacy and dignity of patients.
