Job summary

Indiana University Health is hiring a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCA) to support bedside care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and hygiene while maintaining patient safety.

As a non-licensed team member, you will work under the RN, obtain vital signs, monitor patient status, and communicate changes for rapid care decisions. BLS certification is required; tuition reimbursement is offered for development.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of activities of daily living and patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living and mobility assistance for patients.
• Monitor patient condition by obtaining vital signs and reporting abnormalities to the RN or charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, bathing, linens, and clothing, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
