Qualifications

• Requires current Basic Life Support certification through the AHA or IU Health PCA program.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care and infection control.
• Ability to maintain safe, compassionate bedside manner in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meals, hydration, walking, baths, and linen changes.
• Take vital signs and report abnormalities to the RN.
• Maintain safety with gait belts and alarms and stay within arm's reach.
• Support teamwork and provide excellent patient experience.
