AUGUSTA SPORTSWEAR is seeking a DC Packing Supervisor in Kannapolis, NC. This full-time, 1st shift role oversees packing and outbound shipping within the distribution center, managing staff, ensuring policy compliance, and driving efficiency to meet service goals.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning from ticketing and label reading to daily reporting and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in distribution or warehouse environments.
• Proficient with computers and tablet devices.
• Ability to lead individuals and teams effectively.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in performance management processes and employee relations.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs activities of staff handling outbound shipments.
• Reviews orders, shipping history, and records to determine priorities and procedures.
• Oversees all outbound shipping activities for accuracy and service levels.
• Maintains daily reports and ensures compliance with policies.
• Promotes safety and adheres to company procedures.
• Assists and trains employees in order processing and reporting.
