Job summary

AUGUSTA SPORTSWEAR is seeking a DC Supervisor to oversee outbound shipping and receiving in our Kannapolis distribution center. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily workflows, review orders, and ensure safety and quality while meeting service level goals and company policies.

This hands-on leadership role requires prior warehouse supervision, strong communication, English proficiency, and comfort with tablets and WMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Proficiency with computers; tablet use experience beneficial.
• Ability to manage individuals and teams effectively.
• Ability to follow verbal and written English instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers involved in outbound shipments and receiving.
• Reviews invoices, orders, and shipping records to set priorities and workloads.
• Oversees all outbound shipping to ensure accuracy and service levels.
• Disciplines staff and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reads labels, work orders, and shipping documents; operates scanners.
• Maintains daily timekeeping and reports non-compliance issues.
• Trains staff in order processing and reporting; supports safety programs.
