Zusammenfassung

Aerotek is seeking a Packaging Line Worker for its Story City, IA operations. The role involves operating and supporting packaging line machinery, performing assembly, labeling and quality checks to ensure packaged products meet standards.

You will work in a clean production environment with daytime shifts, overtime possible based on volume, and a focus on safety, teamwork, and consistent quality. This entry-level position offers hands-on machine operation experience.

Qualifikationen

• At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of machine operation and/or packaging experience.
• Experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with packaging and assembly tasks in a production setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to support minor equipment operation and set-up.
• Material handling experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills to follow instructions, labels, and production documentation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team on a production line.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Prior experience working on a packaging or production line.
• Comfort working with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing production needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime based on production volume requirements.

Aufgaben

• Operate packaging line equipment, including slitter machines, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform assembly tasks as required to prepare products for packaging.
• Apply labels accurately and consistently according to specifications.
• Conduct basic quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Complete general packaging duties, including packing, sealing, and preparing products for shipment.
• Assist with minor equipment set-up and adjustments to support continuous production.
