Aerotek is hiring a Machine Operator for its Chicago area operations. You will work on Flexo, Folder, and Gluer lines, assisting with changeovers, setups, and startups, while loading and unloading materials.

You’ll follow work orders to meet customer specifications and stage orders for shipping in a fast-paced, automated setting. The role requires accuracy with measurement devices and the ability to work 2nd shift, with training on 1st shift.

Formación

• Machine operating experience and ability to work with automated lines.
• Experience with changeovers, setups, and startups of machinery.
• Ability to adjust speed, size, and weights of machinery.
• Experience with corrugated/cartoning/packaging materials.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with changeovers, setups, and startups of machinery.
• Load and unload machinery with materials.
• Follow work orders to set up customer orders and specifications.
• Stack and palletize orders.
• Wrap finished orders into bundles.
• Bundle finished cardboard and stage it for shipping.
• Manually load and unload machinery.
• Use measurement devices for accuracy.
• Bundle cardboard into stacks based on customer orders.
• Load boxes onto the line.
