Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma with formal surgical technology training and NBSTA certification. CPR is needed on hire or within 60 days, with 2 years OR experience preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Indiana.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with formal training as a surgical technologist.
• NBSTA certification required within 1 year of program completion; certification by NBSTA within 90 days if military/grandfathered.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• 2 years operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for scheduled operations and maintains sterile setup for the instrument table.
• Assists surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating needs during surgery.
