Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking an OR Service Assistant I to support surgical operations in the 18-suite Operating Room. You will help transport patients, set up the OR, and manage equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for complex cases, including organ transplants and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities include tracking loaned equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and coordinating repairs, with a daytime shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Weston Hospital.

Competenze

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required via AHA or Red Cross.

Mansioni

• Assist in transporting patients and setting up the OR.
• Maintain and operate surgical instrument sets and equipment in the OR.
• Maintain storage areas in the OR.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies for service-specific surgical cases.
• Monitor and track loaned equipment and supplies.
• Ensure proper sterile conditions and clean instruments after surgery.
• Order supplies, stock, run labs and transport blood and materials.
• Transport patients and assist in room turnover.
• Check monthly service-specific supply expiration dates.
• Coordinate and document equipment repairs and loaner returns.
• Educate staff on proper use and function of equipment.

Formazione

High school diploma or GED

BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
