Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a diligent individual to support Operating Room turnover and readiness within the Surgery Main department. You will assist in preparing rooms, transporting patients, and coordinating supplies to ensure efficient procedures.

Expect a 40-hour workweek with a 7-3p orientation period of 3-4 months before transitioning to assigned shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting. High school diploma required and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage time and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing timely and efficient room/case turnover by gathering, checking, organizing dispensing and/or processing equipment, gas cylinders, supplies and instruments; opens sterile supplies and instruments.
• Assist with OR readiness through patient transportation, positioning and room preparation; position patients for procedure and support nursing staff.
