Advocate Health in Concord, NC seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing practice, service delivery, and department operations. You will collaborate with leadership to improve quality, safety, and patient satisfaction while guiding a team of registered nurses and support staff.

The role requires active involvement in staff interviews, supervision, scheduling, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on continuous improvement and mentorship.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN required; if not BSN, must enroll within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and complete within 3 years.
• BLS certification required within policy guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Supports manager in improving quality and nursing service delivery.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication through staff meetings and huddles.
• Collaborates to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and care.
• Delegates care elements to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
• Identifies expected outcomes to guide continuity of care and operations.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and shares updates with the team.
• Performs nursing care, assists with treatments, therapies, procedures, and medications.
• Coordinates patient flow and staffing based on volume and acuity needs.
