Job summary

DP World in Coppell, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead 3PL operations for a Telecom Giant on a day shift. Lean methodologies and 5S experience are preferred as you drive safety, quality and efficiency across the team.

You will plan, train and evaluate staff, coordinate material flow, and ensure on-time receipt and shipment while maintaining daily production metrics and compliance with standard work.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility.
• Experience or training regarding Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean methodologies preferred.
• Quality systems knowledge to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (time-keeping, quality, productivity).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
• Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.
• Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents.
• Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.
• Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material.
• Other duties as assigned.
