Job summary

DP World is seeking an Operations Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead a 3PL operations team in San Antonio. The role requires lean/5S experience and a strong focus on safety, process compliance, and performance metrics.

You will train and motivate staff, monitor production metrics, and liaise with the materials department to ensure on-time material receipt and shipment. A HS diploma and relevant supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience supervising in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience or training in 5S/Lean methodologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality systems to monitor staff performance and costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and train a team; ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Monitor and document daily production metrics and team performance.
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards and housekeeping issues to prevent accidents.
• Ensure compliance with processes, instructions, standard work and elements.
• Coordinate with materials department for on-time receipt and shipment of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
