Job summary

Lahey Clinic is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Day shift in Burlington, MA. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will perform basic patient care, assist with activities of daily living, take vital signs, and support safe patient care in Medical Surgical 6 West.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading/writing and math skills, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic PC skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and completes all activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight and oxygen saturation.
• Assist with nutrition, room setup and feeding as required.
• Provide personal care and support safety for patients.
• Follow infection control policies and department procedures.
