Burlington, MA, Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Evening shift (PT, 24 hours). Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will perform basic patient care and assist with personal needs, comfort and safety of patients.

You will take vital signs, record observations, assist with ADLs, and document intake/output. The role supports a hospital environment with opportunities to contribute to patient well-being and the care team.

Qualifications

• Cares for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and completes all aspects of activities of daily living for assigned patients.
• Vital Signs: May take and record vital signs including height, weight and oxygen saturation.
• Intake and Output: Collects specimens and measures intake and output.
• Activities of Daily Living: Provides personal care and assists with daily activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Record and report vital signs and observations to the nurse.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care for patients.
• Document intake, output and other routine care tasks as required.
