Job summary
The Meadows Psychiatric Center in Centre Hall, PA is seeking a Day Shift Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide administrative and clinical leadership across the nursing department during the 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift, including every other weekend. This full-time role requires a PA RN license and prior supervisory or managerial experience.

Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License.
- Previous supervisor/manager experience is highly preferred.
- Genuine interest in Psychiatric Nursing.
- Previous Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred, not required as we provide on the job training and education
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership in organizing the delivery of patient care in an acute psychiatric setting for patients experiencing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
- Supervise nursing department staff and regularly evaluate staff work performance.
- Make effective decisions regarding patient care in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain communication between hospital Administration, Nursing Administration, and department leaders.
- Relieves nursing staff for meal breaks.
