Qualifications

• High school education coursework or GED required; experience in plastic part manufacturing.
• Understands measuring and inspection equipment used to monitor quality.
• Ability to understand mechanical concepts used in production.
• Basic tasks in Windows; willingness to learn IQMS and ISMECA systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops a thorough understanding of micro mold, small mold, LSR, ISMECA, and manual machinery.
• Performs IQMS lot setup and scans parts to the machine; follows work instructions for testing.
• Monitors machines, checks parts at regular intervals, inspects product for quality.
• Keeps feeder bowls filled and monitors dryers/ovens to maintain material dryness.
• Troubleshoots problems using knowledge of machines and processes.
• Measures parts and follows control plans and SOPs per customer/Accumold requirements.
• Promotes efficient production through proper labeling and material handling.
• Communicates production problems to lead staff or management.
• Other duties as required.
