Job summary

Accumold is seeking a Micro Molding Process Technician for all shifts in Ankeny, IA. The role oversees plastic part production with focus on meeting customer quality expectations and process accuracy.

The technician will establish mold processing parameters, document performance, and troubleshoot issues while mentoring newer employees and coordinating with management on production improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with manufacturing experience.
• Experience with quality systems and use of inspection tools.
• Able to read specifications and measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by example while mentoring and training new employees.
• Establish and maintain processing parameters for molds used in micro molding.
• Document mold performance for tool room, QC and production manager.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on molds and machines.
• Communicate production problems with management and attend meetings as needed.
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
