LabMinds Staffing & Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to perform diagnostic testing across multiple clinical specialties, collect specimens, and ensure QA/QC compliance. The role requires active MLS/MT certification, state licensure, and strong proficiency with LIS/HIS/EMR systems. Day shift, with on-call rotation to cover emergencies, reports to Laboratory Director/Supervisor.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
• Active MLS/MT certification through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a clinical laboratory professional.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic tests across Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Coagulation, Serology, and Blood Bank per pathologist protocols.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated clinical laboratory instruments.
• Complete preventive maintenance and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Detect issues, withhold results until system tolerance is restored, and take corrective actions.
• Apply LEAN principles to bench workflows to improve accuracy and turnaround time.
