Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time Cardiology Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff and patient care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice (cross trained and cross competent to cover more than one hospital service, role, or function).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Observe patients and report to RN or medical staff.
• Record vital signs and collect lab specimens.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure intake/output and assist with range of motion; draw blood.
