Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work with patients directly, assist with clinical procedures, and help coordinate care to ensure a positive healthcare experience.

Responsibilities include patient prep, vital signs, exams, and medications under supervision. A strong emphasis on education for patients and families supports better health outcomes and a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited MA program with externship; internship or EMT/Paramedic training may apply.
• MA certification options include CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as directed.
• Communicate results and instructions to patients.
• Educate patients and families to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
