Qualifications

• Completion of a CMA/ABHES/CAAHP accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA or RMA certification within first year and maintained thereafter.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures under provider supervision.
• Room patients and take vitals; prepare and assist with diagnostic tests.
• Accurately document all patient interactions in the EMR.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with immunizations and injections.
• Support patient education and instructions and coordinate care with the health care team.
