Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Medical Assistant Certification required or must obtain within the specified timeframe

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
• Answer calls and screen referrals
