Job summary

El Paso Specialists, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time day-shift role in El Paso, Texas. You will support clinicians by preparing patients, handling vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with injections and lab work.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required or eligible or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Set up exam rooms, sterilize and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals.
• Handle calls and screen referrals for the practice.
