HCA Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant for our practice to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. This role is full-time, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• Medical Assistant Certification is required; acceptable certs include RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or ABR-OE.
• Recent grads (within 12 months) must obtain certification within 60 days of employment or within one year if already employed without certs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and sterilize equipment.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer telephone calls to the practice and screen for referrals.
