Alfa Laval in Indianapolis, IN seeks a hands-on Material Handler to support assembly operations on-site. You will pull, stage, and deliver materials, assemble kits, and keep inventory accurate using ERP/WMS systems. The role operates on a day shift (6am–2:30pm) with overtime as needed.

You will also use pallet jacks or forklifts, perform cycle counts, and maintain a safe workspace. GED plus 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Formación

• GED with relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or inventory control.
• Basic computer literacy; knowledge of Jeeves/D365 is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pull materials, parts, and sub-assemblies from inventory based on production schedules, pick tickets, and kanban signals.
• Assemble component kits for specific production runs.
• Transport materials from the warehouse to designated workstations on the assembly line using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits; report discrepancies.
• Log material movements in ERP/WMS for real-time visibility.
• Maintain a clean, safe production environment.
