Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Richmond is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Worker - Material Handling - GPHE operator to join our team and support production through precise material movement. You will receive daily assignments, operate forklifts and scanners, and ensure accurate picking, replenishment, and delivery to production lines while maintaining safety and 5S standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
2+ years in materials, warehousing, or manufacturing.
2+ years operating forklifts.
Forklift certification preferred.
Basic desktop computer and handheld scanner skills.
Basic math, including reading a tape measure.
Prior manufacturing and material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive daily work assignments and execute material handling, picking, staging, replenishment, and delivery activities.
Coordinate with Inventory Control to resolve material flow and discrepancies.
Report deviations to the Status Boards and update leaders.
Cross train in multiple production lines to provide flexible support.
Engage in Daily Status Board Meetings and propose solutions.
Follow SOPs and drive continuous improvements with 5S routines.
