Job summary

Specialty Building Products currently seeks a Material Handler to work the Day Shift in our Hebron, OH branch. The role focuses on receiving, movement, and shipping of materials to support production and warehouse operations.

The position requires 1–2 years of sit-down forklift experience, strong communication, and a proven safety record. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and assist in production areas as needed, contributing to a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• One to two years of sit-down forklift experience.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Customer service oriented with internal and external customers.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, audit, inspect, ID and put away incoming material to proper locations.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in warehouse and other material location areas.
• Maintain correct inventories by moving materials in computer when physically moving materials.
• Load trucks with products per direction of Manager.
• Adhere to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
