Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Huber Heights, OH. The role supports operations to ensure a quality product is available when customers need it. Mon-Friday shift 5:00am–1:00pm, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Key duties include dock access control, material movement on the production floor, loading/unloading trucks, and potential inventory tasks. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift safely.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Ability to operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner, wear seatbelt.
• Able to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dock doors are chained off/blocked for forklift entry and equipment is maintained safely.
• Perform production floor duties as assigned by Supervisor (movement of materials).
• Unload/load trucks with shipments; create shippers for outgoing painted cabs.
• May perform inventory control (counting, simple reporting).
• Pack/produce product in small bags, FIBCs, and Rail/Bulk.
