Job summary

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is seeking a 1st Shift Part-Time Material Handler in Hebron, OH to join our VALUES based organization. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, order picking, and maintaining organized warehouse conditions.

The starting pay rate is $18 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least one year of warehouse experience, and basic math skills. Forklift experience and certification are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year warehouse distribution experience.
• Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload, move, stage, pull orders, transport material.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse area and ensure correct location of products.
• Work cooperatively with Supervisors and other employees to complete workload.
• Provide excellent service to customers with attention to detail and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy, and tracking issues.
• Read tickets and product codes to identify items.
• Read a tape measure and accurately pull daily orders.
