Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. in Huber Heights, OH is immediately hiring a Material Handler for the 5:00am–1:00pm shift, Monday to Friday. You will ensure availability of quality product, support production, and maintain safety on the dock and floor.

The role involves unloading/loading trucks, inventory checks, moving materials, and packing into bags and bulk. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, operate forklift, and work flexible hours including overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and wear seatbelt.
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dock doors are chained off for forklift safety.
• Move materials on production floor as directed by Supervisor.
• Unload/load trucks and prepare outgoing shipments.
• May perform inventory control and simple reporting.
• Pack/prep product in bags and bulk forms.
