Job summary

Celgard, LLC seeks an Associate Manufacturing Tech – Day Shift in Concord, NC to join our production team. Reports to Production Supervisor; no supervision duties. Day shift, 5:50am–6:00pm, 2-2-3 schedule; site runs 24/7.

Starting pay is $18.50/hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, half paid after week 1 and half after 6 months; OT opportunities available. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment required.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set-up / operate multiple machines.
• Good attendance and safety records.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of industrial film manufacturing and processing equipment including extruders, laminators, ovens, deployers, slitters, coaters, mixers, and core slabber; use PIVs.
• Prepare chemical solutions and monitor processes; test product quality to standards.
• Troubleshoot production problems or malfunctioning instruments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; ensure quality to company standards.
• Maintain records and interface with software for material transactions, traceability, process control, on-line inspection, testing, and SPC.
• Perform routine optical inspection and product quality tests; document observations for engineers.
• Provide training to new and existing employees as needed.
