Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is hiring an Associate Manufacturing Tech – Night Shift to join the production team. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and operates 12-hour nights on a 2-2-3 schedule, supporting extrusion, lamination, coating and quality checks.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma, strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities, and a diligent focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment required.
• Good attendance and safety records.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set-up / operate multiple machines.
• Computer skills and the ability to learn different software programs and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of industrial film manufacturing and processing equipment including: Extruders, Laminators, Ovens, Deplyers, Slitters, Coaters, Mixers, and Core Slabber.
• Prepare chemical solutions and monitor chemical processes. Use instruments to test the quality of chemical products to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot production problems or malfunctioning instruments.
• Practice excellent safety and environmentally sound habits.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment that meets facility standards.
• Maintain records and interface with multiple computer software programs for purposes of material transactions, traceability, process control, on-line inspection, testing, and statistical process control.
• Perform routine optical inspection and product quality tests according to written specifications and standards.
