Job summary

Intel Corporation's Foundry division seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager, Day Shift (Shift 5) to lead the day team in New Mexico. You will oversee technicians, drive efficient manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, and process optimization.

You will own on-shift challenges as first responder, coordinate workflow with upstream and downstream, and advance safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• 1+ years hands-on manufacturing experience in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift team of technicians overseeing manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair.
• Own and coordinate shift schedules, daily workstation assignments, rotations, training and leave.
• Act as first responder to on-shift technical, equipment, and staffing issues.
• Monitor and improve material workflow through the factory with upstream/downstream teams.
• Lead process improvements to boost factory efficiency and tool performance.
• Promote strict safety and quality compliance and resolve staff/stakeholder conflicts.
• Develop structured training plans and monitor certification levels.
• Inspire a high-performing, inclusive shift culture with clear goals and accountability.
