Atkore International is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Lead (Day Shift 8:00am - 8:00pm) in Louisville, KY. Primary duties include setting up extrusion lines, recording production in JDE, and guiding a team to meet daily targets.

You’ll act as a technical expert, monitor output, and troubleshoot with support groups to ensure smooth operations. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety focus, and the ability to train operators.

Competenze

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Strong math, counting, and quick calculations.
Attention to detail, time management and organization.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Extrusion experience or quick learning of PVC extrusion operations.
Able to read micrometer and OD tape.
Able to change print lines.

Mansioni

Set up machines for production runs safely and efficiently, including changeovers.
Report and verify production totals in the JDE system and assist with shift reports.
Serve as a manufacturing technical expert for identified processes.
Oversee floor operations and escalate issues to leadership.
Monitor machine performance and product quality, troubleshoot with support teams.
Perform minor preventative maintenance and repairs.
Track shift goals on hour-by-hour boards and drive attainment.
