Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated systems and industrial equipment across material handling and building support functions. You’ll support operations with preventive maintenance, drive performance improvements, and work with cross‑functional teams to minimize downtime.

This dayshift role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, experience with PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred), HMI interfaces, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of Automation experience in automation technician roles.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills for 480V, 240V, 24V, and 48V systems.
• Experience with 480V, VFDs, relays, motor controls, electric motors, HMIs, contactors, timers, proximity sensors and switches; electro‑mechanical background; industrial batteries.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment and building support systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and document work orders.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and improve performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
• Order parts, manage inventory, and support warranty requests.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas and participate in monthly safety training.
