Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a DAY SHIFT in Napoleon, OH. You will lead a fully staffed maintenance team, balance floor and desk work, and drive reliability and efficiency across the plant.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, coaching staff, ensuring OSHA compliance, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. The role offers a strong benefits package and potential annual bonus, with a focus on hands-on leadership and long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of supervision experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading a maintenance team of technicians or trades.
• Mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics experience helpful.
• Electrical troubleshooting and industrial controls experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations, create and assign work orders, and follow up on completion.
• Direct, motivate and coach maintenance staff across multiple shifts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and guidelines.
• Oversee maintenance for grounds and facilities.
• Support and implement improvements in the plant.
• Select and supervise outside contractors.
• Communicate with vendors and manage maintenance inventory; enter POs into ERP/CMMS.
• Maintain reports and status updates on current and upcoming projects.
• Provide technical support for new equipment and production issues.
• Coordinate maintenance training related to equipment safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
• Other tasks as assigned by plant management.
