MJ Recruiters, LLC has a maintenance supervisor opening for a day shift in Napoleon, OH. The role leads a fully staffed maintenance team within a fast-growing facility and focuses on reliability, process optimization, and effective leadership on the plant floor and desk.

The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and offers a strong growth trajectory. Candidates must communicate effectively, be self-motivated, and drive projects with excellent project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of similar manufacturing maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience working in plastics manufacturing.
• Experience overseeing a team of maintenance technicians and/or skilled trades individuals.
• Mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, etc.
• Electrical troubleshooting, industrial controls, 480V, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and requirements.
• Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance support operations, including creating and assigning work orders and following up with completion.
• Direct, motivate and coach maintenance staff on multiple shifts.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and guidelines.
• Oversee maintenance for the grounds and facilities.
• Support and implement improvements in the plant.
• Select and supervise outside contractors.
• Communicate with vendors and order maintenance inventory as needed, including entering purchase orders into an ERP and/or CMMS system.
• Maintain reports and communicate on the status of current and upcoming plant maintenance projects.
• Provide technical support for new equipment and production issues.
• Coordinate training related to maintenance and equipment safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
• Other tasks as assigned by plant management.

Fast-paced manufacturer has an immediate opening and is ready to hire a Maintenance Supervisor to lead their technical, well-tenured, fully staffed maintenance team. The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:

Candidates must be able to communicate directly and effectively at all levels, be self-motivated, take initiative on projects, have excellent project management skills and enjoy being hands on as needed. REQUIREMENTS for the Maintenance Supervisor:

• 1. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
