Job summary

Emerus seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our fast-paced ED/urgent care team at the Zarzamora location. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care under RN supervision and contribute to the patient’s plan of care.

Requirements: two years of LVN/LPN experience in ED/urgent care, active Texas LVN/LPN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, Pedagogy IV within 30 days, and English fluency. Day shift, full-time, teamwork-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state where you practice.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Position requires fluency in English (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients under RN supervision.
• Perform focused patient assessments and document care plans.
• Administer medications per policy and ensure accurate records.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams on care plans.
• Maintain infection control, privacy, and a safe work environment.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
