Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services' Calder Woods community in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for full-time, on-site care. Shift is 12 hours, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with days schedule.

You will implement resident care goals, coordinate nursing services, and provide direct care to residents while inspiring happiness in their lives. You must have Texas LVN licensure, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Texas LVN licensure.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred and required by Buckner.
• Proficient in English (read, write and speak).

Responsibilities

• Follow individual health care plans and administer or supervise physician-prescribed treatments.
• Maintain Buckner policies and comply with state/federal laws and guidelines.
• Make resident rounds with care plans, document visits accurately.
• Administer injections, perform in-house tests, record vital signs.
• Support health care plans with rotating schedules and document changes.
• Supervise aides, assign duties and monitor performance.
