Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Day shift team. The LPN will assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patients, delivering nursing services to ensure safety and to promote the well-being of residents as defined by assessments and the care plan.

The role operates on a 12-hour day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with responsibilities including patient assessment, implementing physician orders, and supervising care activities to maintain high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing school.
• Current Iowa LPN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter training within 30 days.
• Recertification every 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Execute physician orders within nursing practice guidelines.
• Perform/supervise activities within LPN scope and seek help when needed.
• Provide leadership in supervising others in the nursing process.

• Execute regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines.
