Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing school.
• Current Iowa LPN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter training; renew every 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning of care, implementing interventions, and evaluation of patient status.
• Executes regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines of nursing practice.
• Performs and/or supervises activities requiring LPN knowledge, seeking assistance when beyond scope.
• Provides leadership and direction in supervising others in carrying out the nursing process.
• Utilizes nursing process including patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, and interventions.
