Job summary

Eventide Jamestown Care Center in Jamestown, ND is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts. Shift runs 6:30a–7p on 12-hour rotations, with every third weekend and holiday. A weekend differential of $2 per hour applies to base wage.

Qualified candidates must hold an active ND LPN/RN license or be eligible to obtain one on hire. We offer competitive pay ($29–$32.48/hr), comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a dynamic work culture.

Qualifications

• Must have an active ND LPN or RN license or be able to obtain upon hire.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required.
• Assesses residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
• Provides individual attention to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Complies with state and federal regulations and Eventide policies.
• Provides accurate documentation in the residents’ electronic medical record.
• Must be able to manage electronic timecard daily.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs via physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Provide direct nursing care and support residents’ wellbeing.
• Administer medications and monitor effectiveness.
• Follow plans of care, physician orders, and CNAs'/NA-R care plans.
• Document in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with care teams and families as needed.
• Assist in orientation/training of new staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing per schedule and support team.
