Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a part-time HVAC service assistant to join our daylight shift team. You will inspect, assist, and support maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment on customer sites across North America, with a single 4-hour weekly shift between 7 AM and 6 PM.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC schooling preferred, and EPA certification is a plus. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures with proper safety PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC tech school preferred.
• 1+ year of industrial HVAC experience preferred but not required (training may be provided).
• EPA Universal certification preferred.
• Tobacco-free workplace; no tobacco products on jobsite.
• Pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and driving record check.
• Applicants should be well groomed and professional.
• Must be able to climb 40 ft ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in very hot or very cold temperatures and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly refrigeration inspections and provide basic maintenance support for industrial equipment (100 HP to 5,000 HP).
• Visually inspect equipment and report findings to customer and service manager.
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements.
• Handle any other duties as assigned by the service manager.
